Remember When They Told Us Medusa Was A Monster?

The thing they call us when we stand our ground.

Medusa was not a monster. She was both beautiful and terrifying.

They called her a monster to take away her power. To diminish her.

To hide her other sides. We are all things and we are many sided.

The snakes in our hair are beautiful as the stars in our eyes.

Love all of my sides or none, for I have many.
