Method

I teach an intuitive vinyasa krama yoga class, with special awareness on sequencing. I focus on alignment and moving the body in high vibrational lines of energy, keeping the practice safe with many options for modifications – allowing the practice to serve our needs each day – present and aware. In my classes students work on both flexibility and strength, as well as the cultivation of prana shakti. Moving energy through the body by not only working the physical aspects of the practice but also by connecting with the subtle body and finding stillness in motion. Yoga is a practice of radical acceptance.

Ashtanga Yoga –  as taught by Sri. K. Pattabhi Jois, Mysore style and primary series led classes.  Background : Since 2002 four extensive trips to India to study in Mysore with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and his grandson Sharath at the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute. As well as several workshops with Jois during his world tours. For almost five years Nathalie apprenticed with certified ashtanga teacher Melanie Fawer and taught Mysore style ashtanga classes at Melanie’s studio The Yoga Room and later for several years at YogaWorks in Los Angeles, California.
